RFQ for Preparation of a Network, Cybersecurity, and Information Technology (IT) Policies and Procedures Assessment
The City of Watsonville is seeking a qualified consultant to coordinate, facilitate and prepare a Network, Cybersecurity, and Information Technology (IT) Policies and Procedure Assessment.
RFQs shall be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on November 15, 2019.

RFQ for On-Call Professional Electric Engineering Design Consulting Services.
The City of Watsonville is seeking a Request for Qualification Statements for periodic and on call professional electrical engineering design and consulting services. 

Construction Projects

The Engineering Division is responsible for public works construction projects for the city. These projects include new construction, improvements and renovations of public buildings, parks and recreation facilities, streets, traffic signals, street lights, wastewater collection system, water systems and storm systems. Public Works improvement projects in excess of $175,000 are subject to formal competitive sealed bidding.

New Public Works Contractor Registration Law (Sb854)

Beginning 2015-04-01, the City of Watsonville may only award public works projects to contractors and subcontractors that comply with the new Public Works Contractor Registration Law (SB 854). More information is available at the following links:

Contractors doing public works projects must register and meet requirements using the online application before bidding on public works contracts in California. The application also provides agencies that administer public works programs with a searchable database of qualified contractors.

Bid Information

The City of Watsonville uses eBidboard, a web-based bid management service, as an electronic plan room. Potential contractors, subcontractors and suppliers may view current projects, register as plan holders, view the plan holders list, download plans and specifications, receive addendum notices and obtain bid results. This information is available free of charge.
